Web Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate PHP Laravel Developer with strong backend development expertise and hands-on experience in fintech-related projects. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Laravel framework, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, REST APIs, database optimization, and modern web technologies.

The candidate should also be familiar with AI tools and modern development practices to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using PHP and Laravel.

• Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Work on fintech-related modules such as payments, KYC, wallet systems, authentication, and transaction processing.

• Implement scalable and secure application architecture.

• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following OOP principles.

• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and project managers.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.

• Maintain database structures, queries, and optimizations.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in PHP and Laravel Framework.

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

• Good understanding of MVC architecture.

• Experience working on FinTech projects.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Authentication & Authorization

• Payment Gateway Integration

• Database Design

• Query Optimization

• Hands-on experience with:

• MySQL

• HTML5

• CSS3

• JavaScript

• Git Version Control

• Familiarity with:

• AI development tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, etc.)

• Linux server environment

• AWS / Cloud deployment

• Understanding of security best practices for fintech applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scalable SaaS applications.

• Knowledge of queue systems, caching, and background jobs.

• Experience with JWT authentication and API security.

• Familiarity with React.js or modern frontend frameworks is a plus.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• OR

• MCA (Master of Computer Applications)

• Equivalent technical qualification with relevant industry experience is also acceptable.
