Software Developer / Application Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks and modern JavaScript technologies

• Work with Code Igniter 3 (CI3) and Code Igniter 4 (CI4) to build robust backend systems

• Design and implement dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Next.js, Bootstrap, and jQuery

• Develop and maintain websites using Word Press and custom PHP solutions

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications

• Optimize applications for performance and scalability

• Manage and maintain databases using MySQL

• Ensure security and data protection best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software/web development

• Strong proficiency in PHP and frameworks like Laravel, Code Igniter 3, and Code Igniter 4

• Experience with frontend technologies including Next.js, Bootstrap, and jQuery

• Hands-on experience with WordPress development (themes & plugins)

• Strong knowledge of MySQL database design and queries

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

• Experience with version control systems like Git

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+)

• Experience with API development and integration

• Familiarity with deployment processes and hosting environments

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
