QA / Application Support Engineer

Job Title: QA Tester (Manual / Automation)
Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh (Work from Office)
Experience: 0–3 Years (Freshers with strong testing knowledge can also apply)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, defect tracking, test case creation, and a basic understanding of automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements.

• Create and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

• Perform Manual Testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.

• Conduct Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and UAT testing.

• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to resolve issues.

• Verify bug fixes and ensure software quality before release.

• Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and sprint testing activities.

• Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and security standards.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience with Manual Testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and API Testing.

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.

• Understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver.

• Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.

• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
