Job Summary
We are looking for a Network Support Engineer to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves handling network incidents, ensuring uptime, and supporting internal teams or customers.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure
Troubleshoot network issues related to routers, switches, firewalls
Handle L2/L3 level network support and escalations
Configure and manage Cisco/Juniper/HP network devices
Support VPN, VLAN, and routing configurations
Perform network performance monitoring and root cause analysis
Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and incident reports
Coordinate with vendors and ISPs when required
Ensure network security and compliance standards
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI model)
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls
Knowledge of routing & switching protocols (BGP, OSPF – basic level)
Experience with VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP
Familiarity with network monitoring tools
Basic understanding of Linux/Windows servers
Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
Good-to-Have Skills
CCNA / CCNP certification (or equivalent knowledge)
Exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Firewall management (FortiGate, Palo Alto – advantage)
Knowledge of network security concepts
Qualifications
BE/BTech in ECE / EEE / IT / CSE or equivalent
2–4 years of experience in network support or IT infrastructure roles
Salary Range
₹4 LPA – ₹7.5 LPA (depending on L2/L3 expertise and certifications)
