Job Summary
A Software Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering training programs for employees, clients, or end users on software applications, systems, and technical processes. The role involves creating training materials, conducting workshops, assessing learner progress, and ensuring effective adoption of software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions on software products, tools, and applications.
Prepare training manuals, presentations, guides, and e-learning materials.
Assess training needs of employees or clients.
Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises.
Support users in understanding software functionalities and troubleshooting basic issues.
Evaluate trainee performance through tests, assignments, and feedback.
Update training content based on software upgrades and business requirements.
Coordinate with development, support, and HR teams for training schedules.
Maintain training records and reports.
Assist in onboarding new employees with technical training.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of software applications and IT concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of MS Office, LMS platforms, and online training tools.
Basic understanding of databases, programming, or software development lifecycle is an advantage.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Certifications in technical training or specific software technologies are preferred.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in software training, technical support, or software implementation.
Freshers with strong technical and communication skills may also apply.
