·         IT History Logs: Maintain a detailed digital log for every computer repairs, upgrades, and user history.

·         Monthly Inventory: Maintain a full monthly inventory records of all IT-related assets like Monitors, CPU, mouse, keyboards, printers. power cables, and VGA/HDMI adapters.

·         Asset Tagging: Implement and maintain a formal asset numbering system (physical tags + digital database) for all company hardware assets.

·         UPS periodic Checks: Regularly test the battery backup time for all computer UPS units to ensure they can support the computers during a power failure.

·         External Repair Logs: Maintain a formal record of any IT items sent out for repair, including the date sent, vendor name, estimated return date, and serial number.

·         Return Verification: Inspect all repaired items upon return to ensure the issue is fixed before clearing the record and paying the repair bill. 

·         Peripheral Management: Maintain and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and local networking equipment.

·         Proactive Maintenance: Perform regular updates and "periodic checks" on all workstations to extend equipment lifespan. 

·         Routine Cleaning: Deep clean computers, monitors, CPUs, UPS units, and printers once a month to prevent overheating and hardware failure.
