This role focuses mainly on desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for IT hardware issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals)
Log and track support tickets using helpdesk systems
Coordinate with field technicians or vendors for repairs and replacements
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware systems
Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades
Manage inventory of IT hardware and spare parts
Ensure timely resolution of issues as per SLA (Service Level Agreement)
Assist users with basic technical guidance and setup
Maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and procedures
🧠 Skills & Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, basic networking)
Experience with ticketing/helpdesk tools
Basic understanding of networking concepts
Good communication and coordination skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests
🛠️ Technical Skills:
Hardware installation and repair
