Data Analyst / Business Analyst Intern

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team at Trade Partners (Grant Road Mumbai )

Job Overview:

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable

insights that drive business decisions. This individual will use advanced analytical

techniques and models to analyze business performance, uncover trends and

guide the optimization of ecommerce strategies, particularly on Amazon, and

other relevant platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Data Management:

- Collect, organize and clean large sets of structured and unstructured data from various sources, including ecommerce platforms, customer data and internal systems.

2. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze ecommerce data to identify trends, patterns and insights that can optimize marketing, sales and customer service efforts.

- Generate weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports for senior management, showcasing key performance metrics, actionable insights and recommendations.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis to assess new opportunities for data-driven decision-making and improved business strategies.

3. Coding and Automation:

- Utilize techniques (coding preferred) to manipulate and analyze data, build data models, and automate data analysis processes.

- Develop custom data reports and dashboards, ensuring that data is presented in an easily interpretable format for various stakeholders.

- Automate repetitive data analysis tasks to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in using Excel

- Proficiency in using Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.

- Proficiency in using data visualization tools to present findings.

- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to derive insights from data.

- Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing and organizing large datasets from multiple sources.

- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.

Tools used:

Microsoft Excel, Python, Power BI

Preferred Qualifications:

- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

- Willing to travel outstations preferred (But not mandatory)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
