Data Analyst / Business Analyst Intern

As a Data Analyst at Somniate Solutions (South Asia’s largest transportation analytics company), you will extract, analyze, and validate traffic and vehicle movement data. The role relies heavily on processing data captured from video feeds, drone-based traffic surveys, and field records to assist international traffic management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Processing & Counting: Code and analyze vehicle flow from multiple sources, including Turning Movement Counts (TMC), pedestrian surveys, roundabout surveys, and link counts.

• Accuracy & Validation: Conduct manual or automated traffic volume counts with high precision to maintain data quality standards.

• Data Management: Input data accurately, maintain structured data sheets, organize survey records, and update spreadsheets.

• Timeline Adherence: Coordinate with your data team and reporting manager to ensure the timely submission of clean traffic metrics.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (Freshers are highly encouraged to apply).

• Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge, specifically strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel and MS Office utilities.

• Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, exceptional observation skills, and a penchant for error-free data logging.
