Data Analyst / Business Analyst Intern

Key Responsibilities

● Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for management.

● Collect, verify, and consolidate data from Production, Stores, Quality, Purchase, Sales, HR, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.

● Develop and maintain management dashboards to track key business performance indicators (KPIs).

● Create reports on:

○ Daily Production

○ Production Planning

○ Machine Utilization

○ OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

○ Rejection & Quality Analysis

○ Inventory & Stock Reports

○ Raw Material Consumption

○ Dispatch & Sales Reports

○ Attendance & Manpower Reports

○ Purchase and Vendor Reports

● Prepare graphical reports, charts, and presentations for management meetings.

● Monitor data accuracy and ensure timely submission of reports.

● Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.

● Coordinate with department heads to collect and validate business data.

● Maintain and update MIS databases with complete accuracy.

● Generate ad hoc reports as requested by the Managing Director and senior management.

● Ensure confidentiality of company information and reports.

● Support automation and digitization of reporting processes wherever possible.

Required Technical Skills

● Advanced Microsoft Excel

○ Pivot Tables & Pivot Charts

○ VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP

○ INDEX-MATCH

○ IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, COUNTIFS

○ Conditional Formatting

○ Data Validation

○ Advanced Filters

○ Power Query (preferred)

○ Basic Macros (preferred)

● Microsoft Word

● Microsoft PowerPoint

● Google Sheets (preferred)

● Dashboard creation in Microsoft Excel or Power BI (preferred)

● Knowledge of ERP software is an added advantage.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), Computer Applications (BCA), Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.

● Certification in Advanced Excel, MIS, Power BI, or Data Analytics will be an added advantage.

Experience

● 1–3 years of experience in MIS, Data Analysis, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

● Freshers with exceptional Excel and analytical skills may also apply.
