Backend Developer / Backend Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Java Developer (Spring Boot) who is passionate about backend development and building scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in Java and hands-on experience with Spring Boot–based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java & Spring Boot

• Design and implement RESTful APIs

• Integrate databases and ensure smooth data flow

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing systems

• Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams

• Follow best coding practices and company development standards

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Java

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot

• Understanding of REST APIs

• Knowledge of Hibernate / JPA

• Basic to good understanding of SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

• Familiarity with Git/version control

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Good to Have

• Exposure to Microservices architecture

• Knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
