Looking for a Backend Developer (Python/Django) – 1.5+ Years Experience
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Backend Developer with a solid foundation in Python and Django. The ideal candidate should have practical experience through projects, professional work and be ready to contribute to real-world backend systems in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend features using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF)
Design and build RESTful APIs with CRUD operations, pagination, and filtering
Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) using Django ORM and migrations
Implement authentication systems (Session-based, JWT, OAuth2)
Integrate third-party APIs and manage data securely
Collaborate with frontend teams for seamless API integration
Debug issues, validate inputs, and implement structured error handling
Optimize performance and contribute to scalable backend architecture
Follow clean coding standards and participate in code reviews
Use Git for version control and team collaboration
Skills & Qualifications:
Languages & Core Concepts:
Strong proficiency in Python
Good understanding of OOP, data structures, and clean code practices
Frameworks & Technologies:
Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF)
Familiarity with Django components (models, serializers, views, middleware, admin)
API Development:
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and serialization
Experience in API testing tools like Postman
Database Management:
Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
Good understanding of Django ORM, migrations, and query optimization
Authentication & Security:
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure API practices
Asynchronous Processing & Caching:
Experience with background task processing tools like Celery (or similar)
Familiarity with caching mechanisms such as Redis
Version Control:
Proficient in Git (branching, merging, collaboration workflows)
Nice to Have:
Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS)
Understanding of microservices architecture or WebSockets
