Key Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day electrical and plumbing maintenance activities in residential apartment communities.
Attend electrical and plumbing breakdown complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain electrical systems such as lighting, DB panels, wiring, pumps, motors, and common-area equipment.
Carry out plumbing maintenance, including water supply lines, valves, taps, sanitary fixtures, drainage lines, and water tanks.
Monitor raw water/domestic water levels in underground sumps and overhead tanks.
Operate pumps for transferring treated water from the treated water sump to overhead tanks based on water levels.
Ensure adequate potable water flow throughout the facility.
Operate and support the maintenance of Water Treatment Plant equipment.
Carry out chemical dosing and monitor water treatment parameters as per SOP requirements.
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) as per the approved checklist.
Attend in-house service requests and close all SRs within the agreed timeline.
Identify equipment/plumbing abnormalities and report them to the Facility Manager.
Ensure maximum uptime and proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, pumping, and water-treatment equipment.
Support vendors during electrical, plumbing, water-treatment, and other facility-related activities.
Maintain chemical, salt, consumables, tools, and critical-spares trackers.
Suggest and coordinate with the Facility Manager regarding critical spare requirements.
Maintain proper records of breakdowns, PPM activities, service requests, and completed maintenance works.
Follow all electrical, plumbing, water-treatment, safety, and UPSPL SOP requirements.
Participate in toolbox talks and ensure proper shift handover and communication.
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site-specific guidelines while carrying out maintenance activities.
Perform any other facility maintenance activities assigned by the Facility Manager.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, pumps, motors, and water-treatment equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and plumbing breakdowns.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and basic safety procedures.
Ability to maintain checklists, trackers, and service records.
Good coordination with the Facility Manager, vendors, and other facility team members
