Department: Housekeeping

Location: Hospital

Reporting To: Housekeeping Manager / Facility Manager

Shift: Rotational Shift

1. Job Purpose

Hospital mein housekeeping operations ko effectively manage karna, cleanliness, hygiene, infection-control practices aur housekeeping staff ki daily activities ko ensure karna.

2. Key Responsibilities

Daily housekeeping staff ki duty allocation aur deployment karna.

Staff ki attendance, punctuality aur grooming monitor karna.

Hospital ke patient rooms, wards, OPD, ICU, OT areas, corridors, washrooms, offices aur common areas ki cleanliness ensure karna.

Cleaning schedule aur checklist ke according work complete karwana.

Hospital mein infection control protocols aur prescribed cleaning procedures follow karwana.

Biomedical waste ko hospital guidelines ke according segregate aur dispose karwana.

Cleaning chemicals, equipment, consumables aur housekeeping material ka proper use aur availability check karna.

Staff ko proper cleaning methods, chemical dilution aur safety procedures ke regarding briefing/training dena.

Patient/attendant complaints ko promptly attend karna aur issue resolve karna.

Daily inspection karke cleanliness standards maintain karna.

Any complaint, shortage, damage, incident ya other issue ko senior management ko report karna.

Shift ke end mein proper handover/takeover dena.

Pending issues ko next shift supervisor ko clearly communicate karna.

Housekeeping equipment aur machinery ki proper maintenance ensure karna.

Staff discipline, uniform, ID card, shoes aur personal hygiene maintain karwana.

Deep cleaning, terminal cleaning aur special cleaning activities supervise karna.

Daily manpower requirement aur shortage ki information management ko dena.

Hospital management/client ke instructions ko housekeeping team tak communicate karna.

Daily reports, checklists, attendance aur other housekeeping records maintain karna.
