Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will supervise housekeeping staff, inspect rooms and public areas, and maintain efficient workflow within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping team members
Assign daily cleaning schedules and room allocations
Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness standards
Train and guide housekeeping staff on procedures and safety practices
Maintain inventory of linens, guest supplies, and cleaning materials
Report maintenance issues to the engineering department
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards
Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns
Prepare daily reports and attendance records
Requirements
Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
Minimum 1–3 years of supervisory experience
Good communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of cleaning standards and housekeeping operations
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Hospitality certification is a plus
