A Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily cleaning operations, assigning tasks, training staff, and ensuring high cleanliness and sanitation standards in hotels, hospitals, or other facilities, managing inventory, inspecting work, and handling guest issues to ensure a spotless environment and guest satisfaction. They are responsible for scheduling, performance monitoring, ordering supplies, and reporting to management, making sure staff follow safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Schedule shifts, assign duties, train new staff, monitor performance, and resolve conflicts.
Operations Oversight: Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
Inventory & Supplies: Monitor, order, and manage cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety policies (e.g., PPE usage).
Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest complaints and special requests professionally.
Reporting: Provide reports to management on department performance and operational needs.
