Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, inspecting rooms and public areas, and ensuring hotel standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping attendants and public area cleaners.

• Prepare staff duty rosters and assign tasks.

• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and service expectations.

• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.

2. Room & Public Area Inspection

• Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

• Ensure VIP rooms are prepared according to hotel standards.

• Report maintenance issues to the engineering department promptly.

3. Quality & Standards

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation in accordance with hotel policies.

• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Monitor linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies inventory.

4. Guest Service

• Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping professionally and efficiently.

• Ensure guest requests (extra linen, amenities, etc.) are fulfilled promptly.

• Support front office with room status updates.

5. Administrative Duties

• Maintain housekeeping records and reports.

• Monitor attendance and productivity.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management preferred.

• 2 years experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel environment.

• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Good organizational and time-management abilities.

• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

• Basic computer knowledge (PMS systems is a plus).

• It is a Full Time హౌస్ కీపింగ్ job for candidates with 6 months - 1 years of experience.
