Housekeeping Supervisor – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage housekeeping staff at the assigned site.

• Prepare daily duty allocation, cleaning schedules, and manpower deployment.

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across all areas.

• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.

• Inspect common areas, washrooms, lobbies, offices, and other assigned areas.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping machines and equipment.

• Monitor cleaning materials, chemicals, and inventory.

• Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety, and proper chemical usage.

• Handle client/resident complaints and resolve housekeeping-related issues.

• Maintain daily checklists, inspection reports, attendance, and other records.

• Coordinate with the Property/Site Manager and report daily activities.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, and hygiene standards.

• Manage emergency and special cleaning requirements when needed.
