Job Description – General Shift Supervisor

Position: General Shift Supervisor
Shift: General Shift

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of contract workers engaged in Haulage, Handling, and Housekeeping operations.

• Ensure proper attendance, deployment, and discipline of manpower during the general shift.

• Arrange and deploy additional manpower immediately, whenever required, to meet operational exigencies or workload.

• Monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to plant safety and operational standards.

• Ensure mandatory use of PPE and compliance with safety, statutory, and company guidelines.

• Coordinate with plant officials for smooth and uninterrupted execution of daily operations.

• Maintain records such as attendance, manpower deployment, work completion, and incident reports.

• Address minor workforce issues and escalate operational concerns to site management as required.

• Ensure cleanliness, housekeeping standards, and overall discipline within the plant premises.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 10th / 12th pass (Diploma preferred).

• 2–3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in LPG bottling plants, industrial units, or similar contract operations.

Skills Required:

• Strong manpower management and coordination skills.

• Ability to respond quickly to operational requirements and emergencies.

• Basic knowledge of safety practices, documentation, and reporting.

• It is a Full Time హౌస్ కీపింగ్ job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
