We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at BR Healthcare Hospital to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas. The role includes using appropriate cleaning methods, handling chemicals safely, and ensuring a sanitized environment. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹25,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Supervision: Lead, assign, and inspect daily cleaning schedules across patient wards, ICUs, Operation Theatres (OT), corridors, and outdoor areas.

• Hygiene & Infection Control: Ensure strict adherence to hospital sanitation protocols, deep-cleaning guidelines, and bio-hazard/bio-medical waste management rules.

• Inventory & Equipment: Monitor daily stock of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and housekeeping machinery; ensure zero wastage and timely stock requests.

• Staff Management & Attendance: Track duty rosters, shift schedules, grooming, and daily attendance of housekeeping staff and janitors.

• On-the-Job Training: Train housekeepers on proper chemical dilutions, color-coded mops/dusters, equipment safety, and patient-first etiquette.

• Audit & Reporting: Conduct routine quality checks, log daily inspection checklists, and report maintenance issues directly to the Facility Manager.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is 12th Pass and 6 months - 2 years of experience. Expert knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is essential. The role requires candidates with time management skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently.

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor (Hospital/Healthcare experience strongly preferred).

• Knowledge: Working knowledge of Bio-Medical Waste Management (BMWM) rules and hospital sanitation standards.

• Skills: Strong team leadership, communication, basic smartphone skills (for logging daily reports), and problem-solving.
