Job Summary
The Building Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and security of the building premises. The role ensures smooth functioning of facilities, vendor coordination, compliance with safety standards, and overall upkeep of the property.
Key Responsibilities
1. Building Maintenance & Operations
Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities (electrical, plumbing, civil, HVAC).
Conduct regular inspections of the building and equipment.
Ensure timely repair and preventive maintenance.
Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
2. Vendor & Contractor Management
Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and services.
Monitor work quality and ensure service level compliance.
Verify bills and submit for approval.
3. Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to fire safety and building regulations.
Conduct periodic safety checks and drills.
Monitor CCTV systems and security arrangements.
Ensure compliance with local municipal regulations.
4. Housekeeping & Cleanliness
Supervise housekeeping staff.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Monitor waste disposal and sanitation.
5. Inventory & Asset Control
Maintain records of building assets and equipment.
Track inventory of maintenance supplies.
Ensure proper storage and usage of materials.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare monthly maintenance reports.
Track maintenance expenses and budget utilization.
Report incidents and major repairs to management.
