Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards across all guest rooms and public areas. The role ensures high guest satisfaction by maintaining hotel standards and supervising housekeeping staff efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Room & Area Management
Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas
Ensure rooms are cleaned as per hotel SOPs and standards
Conduct regular inspections of rooms before guest check-in
Coordinate with Front Office for room readiness

2. Staff Supervision
Assign daily duties to housekeeping staff
Monitor staff performance and attendance
Train new staff on cleaning procedures and hotel standards
Maintain discipline and team coordination
---
3. Quality & Hygiene Control
Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation standards are followed
Maintain linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies quality
Check for damages and report maintenance issues
---
4. Inventory & Supplies Management
Maintain stock of linen, toiletries, and cleaning materials
Monitor usage and avoid wastage
Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment
---
5. Coordination with Other Departments
Work closely with Front Office for room status updates
Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs
Support management during audits or inspections
---
6. Guest Handling
Address guest complaints related to cleanliness
Ensure quick resolution and guest satisfaction
Maintain courteous and professional communication
---
Key Requirements:
Education:
Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management (preferred)
Experience:
2–4 years in housekeeping operations
At least 1 year in a supervisory role

Basic knowledge of housekeeping equipment & chemicals
