Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of assigned areas. The role ensures a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for guests, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain rooms, offices, washrooms, and common areas
Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors regularly
Ensure proper disposal of garbage and waste
Refill cleaning supplies such as soap, tissue, and sanitisers
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
Assist in shifting furniture or office items when required
Follow hygiene and safety standards at all times
Handle cleaning equipment properly
Support other housekeeping staff as needed
Requirements:
Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not mandatory
Basic understanding of cleaning processes and hygiene
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Good behaviour and positive attitude
