The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, restaurant areas, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas of the hotel.
Ensure cleanliness of restaurant dining areas, service stations, washrooms, and kitchen support areas (as assigned).
Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Clean windows, mirrors, tables, chairs, and other surfaces regularly.
Change bed linen, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
Maintain proper hygiene standards in food & beverage areas as per hotel and safety norms.
Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
Collect and dispose of waste as per hygiene and safety guidelines.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
Follow hotel grooming, uniform, and safety standards at all times.
Assist other departments during peak hours when required.
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in shifts, including holidays.
Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks.
Honest, disciplined, and team-oriented.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Minimum qualification: 12th pass preferred.
Prior experience in hotel or restaurant housekeeping is an advantage but not mandatory.
Shift-based duty as per hotel/restaurant operations.
Mandatory wearing of hotel-issued uniform during duty hours.
