Job Summary

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant at The Novello by Hotel Evergreen, you will be responsible for the cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas. You will help create a spotless, welcoming environment to enhance the guest experience and support the hotel’s service standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities

✔ Clean and service guest rooms according to assigned standards
✔ Make beds and change linen for guest arrivals and departures
✔ Clean bathrooms thoroughly — toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors
✔ Dust, polish furniture, fixtures, and décor
✔ Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in guest rooms and corridors
✔ Replenish room supplies (towels, toiletries, tea/coffee amenities)
✔ Replace used linens and restock housekeeping cart
✔ Remove trash and ensure waste disposal follows hotel procedures
✔ Report any maintenance issues, damages, or guest concerns to supervisor
✔ Follow safety, hygiene, and hotel cleanliness standards
✔ Maintain professional grooming and hotel uniform standards
✔ Assist with laundry handling when required
✔ Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
✔ Adhere to housekeeping checklists and record room status accurately

Skills & Qualifications

Attention to detail and pride in cleanliness
Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Physical stamina for walking, bending, lifting, and carrying supplies
Basic understanding of housekeeping tools and cleaning products
Courtesy and guest-oriented behavior
