Job Title: Room Boy / Housekeeping Associate
Department: Housekeeping
Location: [Hotel Name / Property Location]
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Job Summary:
The Room Boy / Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service assigned guest rooms as per hotel standards
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities
Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize rooms and bathrooms
Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, water bottles, and minibar items
Report maintenance issues (AC, lights, plumbing, etc.) to the supervisor
Ensure proper handling and usage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and housekeeping pantry
Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction
Follow hygiene, safety, and hotel SOPs at all times
Coordinate with Front Office for room status updates
Key Requirements:
Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass
1–2 years of experience in housekeeping (hotel experience preferred)
Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards
Physically fit and able to handle manual work
Basic communication skills (Hindi/English)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
