Job Title: Housekeeping Associate

Department: Housekeeping

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Location: Lonavala

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and pleasant environment for guests, visitors, and staff. This includes cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, replenishing supplies, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to company standards.

• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries.

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.

• Dispose of trash, maintain cleaning equipment, and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.

• Restock supplies and ensure inventory is properly managed.

• Follow health and safety regulations, including infection control and waste management procedures.

• Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently.

• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and documented as required.

• Collaborate with the housekeeping team and other departments to deliver excellent service.

• Maintain confidentiality and respect guests’ privacy at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services (preferred but not mandatory).

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.

• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:

• Indoor/outdoor cleaning as required.

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and moderate physical activity.

• Uniform and protective gear provided.
