Job Description: Room Boy / Housekeeping Attendant

Property: Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat Location: [Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat Guwara Dulawa, Ajabgarh, Thanagazi, Rajasthan 301027]

Key Responsibilities

The Room Boy / Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort for our guests across all areas of the retreat.

Core Housekeeping Duties:

• Guest Room Preparation: Efficiently clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, replenishing amenities and toiletries, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and emptying trash bins.

• Chemical & Inventory Management: Maintain a working knowledge of all cleaning chemicals and their safe use. Capable of performing housekeeping inventory checks for supplies and linen.

• Linen & Laundry Care: Ensure proper linen upkeep and assist with operating the on-site laundry and pressing of uniforms/guest items as required.

• Public Area Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and order of public areas, restrooms, and staff zones.

Guest Interaction & Teamwork:

• Guest Communication: Be polite, professional, and capable of communicating effectively with guests to address minor requests or queries.

• Reporting & Compliance: Report any maintenance issues, damaged/missing items, or safety concerns promptly. Strictly adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols.

• Cross-Functional Support: Demonstrate a zeal for cross-functional work by assisting other teams (e.g., F&B, General Support) during busy periods or as directed by the manager.

Requirements & Benefits

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but willing to train candidates with the right attitude.

• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month (D.O.E. - Depending on Experience and Skill)

• Perks: Complimentary Accommodation and Food will be provided on-site.

• Leave: 2 Paid Leaves per month.
