Job Title: Housekeeper

Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor / Operations Manager
Position Overview
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the restaurant premises. This role ensures that all guest areas, service zones, and staff facilities are well maintained, creating a welcoming, safe, and hygienic environment. The position requires high standards of cleanliness, attention to detail, good time management, and proactive coordination with the restaurant and facility teams.
What You Will Own and Be Responsible For
1. Cleaning & Hygiene Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness of all restaurant areas including dining spaces, restrooms, entryways, service corridors, and staff zones.
Perform routine cleaning activities—sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and surface sanitization.
Ensure restrooms are cleaned, stocked, and checked at regular intervals.
Maintain cleanliness of windows, furniture, fixtures, and décor items.
Follow checklists to ensure all cleaning tasks meet hygiene standards.
2. Restaurant Upkeep & Support
Ensure tables, chairs, and service areas are clean, organized, and presentable before and during operations.
Support the FOH team with setup and arrangement of dining areas.
Manage waste disposal, ensure timely garbage removal, and follow segregation practices.
Report maintenance issues (leaks, electrical faults, damages) to the Admin/Facility team promptly.
3. Pantry & Stock Management
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, housekeeping materials, tissue rolls, and restroom consumables.
Maintain records of stock usage and inform supervisors for timely replenishment.
Handle cleaning equipment responsibly and keep them in proper working condition.
4. Safety, Compliance & Procedures
Follow hygiene and sanitation protocols as per restaurant and F&B industry standards.
Adhere to safety guidelines for chemical handling, equipment uses, and waste management.
Support in maintaining compliance with health, safety, and audit requirements.
5. Coordination & Team Support
Coordinate with the restaurant, kitchen, and admin teams for housekeeping needs.
Assist during events, peak hours, and special service requirements.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude while interacting with staff and guests when needed.

Qualifications
Prior experience in housekeeping, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality environments (1–3 years).
Age: above 20 years
Basic understanding of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
Good time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain high hygiene standards.
Physically fit, reliable, and punctual.
