Position: Kitchen Housekeeping Staff
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area. Ensures all kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and storage areas are clean, organized, and comply with hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, countertops, and workstations.
Wash and store utensils, dishes, pots, and pans.
Clean kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, refrigerators, and exhaust areas.
Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness of garbage bins.
Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages when required.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Keep storage areas organized and clean.
Assist kitchen staff with general cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Ensure the kitchen is clean and ready for operations at all times.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices.
Ability to follow hygiene and safety guidelines.
Physically fit to stand for long periods and perform cleaning tasks.
Team player with a responsible and disciplined approach.
Previous experience in kitchen housekeeping or stewarding is preferred.
