Job Description: Housekeeper/Kitchen Stewarding Staff

Position Overview: The Housekeeper/Kitchen Stewarding Staff member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of kitchen and restaurant areas. They play a critical role in ensuring a sanitary environment for both employees and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing and Utensil Cleaning:

  • Load, run, and unload dishwashers efficiently.

  • Hand-wash dishes and utensils as required, ensuring thorough cleanliness.

  • Clean kitchen equipment

• Kitchen and Restaurant Area Maintenance:

  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to maintain cleanliness.

  • Ensure restaurant areas are tidy, clean, and ready for service.

• Cleaning Food Preparation Areas:

  • Maintain food prep stations by regularly sanitizing surfaces.

  • Remove food debris and maintain hygienic conditions consistently.

• Waste Management:

  • Regularly empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of garbage.

  • Maintain cleanliness around waste disposal areas.

• Organization and Environment:

  • Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe.

  • Report any maintenance or sanitation issues promptly to supervisors.
