A restaurant cleaner maintains strict hygiene and safety standards by cleaning dining areas, kitchens, and restrooms, ensuring a spotless, compliant environment. Key responsibilities include mopping, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, emptying waste bins, restocking supplies, and performing deep cleaning of equipment, often working after hours or during, to ensure a pristine guest experience.
Key Restaurant Cleaning Responsibilities
Sanitization & Hygiene: Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, booths, menus, and high-touch surfaces to prevent contamination.
Kitchen Deep Clean: Degrease grills, stovetops, exhaust hoods, and food preparation surfaces.
Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and vacuum all dining room, kitchen, and bathroom floors to remove dirt and food spills.
Waste Management: Empty trash cans, replace liners, break down cardboard boxes, and ensure the exterior dumpster area is clean to prevent pests.
Restroom Sanitation: Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and mirrors; restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper hourly or after peak hours.
General Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and outside walkways.
Inventory & Safety: Properly dilute and store cleaning chemicals, and notify management of low inventory or needed repairs.
