Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Bakery Server / Counter Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and prior experience in bakery, café, or restaurant service. The role involves serving customers, handling billing, maintaining display counters, and ensuring a pleasant customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
Serve bakery products including cakes, pastries, breads, puffs, cookies, and beverages
Assist customers with product recommendations and upselling
Handle billing, cash, UPI, and POS transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter, display area, and service station
Ensure products are properly displayed and replenished on time
Check product freshness and report stock requirements to management
Handle takeaway and packaging efficiently
Coordinate with kitchen and bakery team for smooth operations
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in bakery, café, restaurant, or food service industry
Excellent communication and customer handling skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and multitasking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in bakery or café counter operations
Basic English speaking skills preferred
