Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator with 2 years of hands-on experience in managing Linux servers and telephony systems. The candidate should have practical knowledge of Vicidial and Asterisk, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The role involves managing production servers, VoIP infrastructure, and ensuring high availability of call center systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (CentOS/Ubuntu).
Deploy and manage Vicidial call center applications.
Configure and maintain Asterisk PBX systems.
Manage SIP trunks, DID routing, IVR, call routing, and dial plans.
Monitor server performance, system logs, and troubleshoot issues.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
Handle backup, disaster recovery, and system documentation.
Monitor call quality and resolve VoIP-related issues (latency, jitter, packet loss).
Coordinate with ISP and VoIP providers for connectivity issues.
Provide technical support to internal teams.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Linux administration (CLI, SSH, services, firewall, cron).
Hands-on experience with Vicidial installation and campaign configuration.
Good knowledge of Asterisk configuration (extensions.conf, sip.conf / pjsip).
Understanding of SIP protocol and VoIP concepts.
Basic knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB.
Familiarity with server monitoring tools.
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, NAT, Port forwarding).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with virtualization (VMware / Proxmox).
Knowledge of security best practices.
Basic scripting knowledge (Bash).
Experience in call center environment.
