Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Mount security cameras, run and terminate cables, and set up monitors, power supplies, and recording devices like DVRs and NVRs.

• Configuration: Program network video recorders, IP addresses, and integrate systems with access control or alarms.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix hardware failures, wiring issues, signal quality problems, or software glitches.

• Maintenance: Conduct routine system tests, perform preventative maintenance, and update device firmware.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent vocational training in electronics, electrical work, or IT.

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of basic electrical theory, IP networking, wiring methods, and reading technical schematics.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to use hand tools, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift equipment.

• Soft Skills: Good customer service, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
