🧾 Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior L2 NOC Engineer (ISP) to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the stability of our ISP network infrastructure. The candidate will handle customer-impacting incidents escalated from L1 and ensure high availability and SLA compliance across core, aggregation, and access networks.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Network Monitoring:
Monitor core, distribution, and access networks
Track Internet, ILL, MPLS, Broadband, and Leased Line links
Use monitoring tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, and NetFlow
Analyze alerts like link down, latency, packet loss, and flapping
L2 Troubleshooting:
Handle escalated issues from L1 support
Troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP – basic, OSPF, Static)
Resolve VLAN, QinQ, IP pool, and subnet-related issues
Diagnose fiber, last-mile, OLT–ONU, and switch port problems
Manage congestion, high utilization, and network loops
Ticket & SLA Management:
Handle enterprise and corporate customer tickets
Ensure issue resolution within defined SLA timelines
Provide timely updates on outages and customer impact
Maintain proper documentation, shift handovers, and escalation notes
Configuration & Support:
Perform basic configuration on routers (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, MikroTik)
Configure switch ports (Access/Trunk/VLAN tagging)
Verify ACLs and basic firewall rules
Support IP whitelisting and blacklisting
🧠 Required Skills
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching)
Basic knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs
Experience with network monitoring tools
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work in rotational shifts
