Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Engineer to manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, networking equipment, and peripheral systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hardware configurations, network infrastructure, and IT support systems, with a focus on delivering efficient and reliable technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other hardware devices.

•  Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues, including component-level diagnostics and replacements.

•  Assemble and upgrade computer systems based on organizational requirements.

•  Set up and maintain local area networks (LAN), routers, switches, and cabling infrastructure.

•  Perform regular maintenance checks and ensure proper system performance.

•  Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, procurement, and AMC support.

•  Maintain inventory records for IT hardware assets and track usage.

•  Provide support for CCTV, biometric systems, intercom, and audio-visual equipment (if applicable).

•  Assist with installation and configuration of operating systems and software when required.

•  Ensure compliance with IT security standards and data protection policies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

•  Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware, Electronics, IT, or related field.

•  2+ years of experience in hardware maintenance and support roles.

•  Strong knowledge of PC hardware components, networking basics, and troubleshooting tools.

•   Familiarity with operating systems and system imaging.

•  Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.

•  Good communication and customer service skills.

•  Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical issues efficiently.
