Relay Protection System Management

• Perform testing, commissioning, configuration, and maintenance of numerical and electromechanical protection relays.

• Review and implement protection schemes for transformers, feeders, transmission lines, and switchgear.

• Conduct relay coordination and protection studies.

• Analyze relay operation records and fault events.

• Ensure proper functioning of protection systems such as:

  • Differential Protection

  • Overcurrent & Earth Fault Protection

  • Distance Protection

  • Transformer Protection

  • Busbar Protection

  • Breaker Failure Protection

Transformer Operations & Maintenance

• Monitor the performance and health of power transformers and auxiliary transformers.

• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities.

• Perform transformer testing including:

  • IR (Insulation Resistance) Test

  • Winding Resistance Test

  • Turns Ratio Test (TTR)

  • Tan Delta Test

  • Oil BDV Test

  • Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA)

• Diagnose transformer faults and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with OEM recommendations and maintenance schedules.
