We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to work on-site as technical support for our premium client. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of hardware systems and network infrastructure, ensuring smooth IT operations at the client site.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT hardware
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network-related issues
Configure and support LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and access points
Perform network cabling, patching, and basic rack management
Handle OS installation and support (Windows 10/11, basic Linux knowledge preferred)
User account creation and support (Active Directory – basic level)
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
Coordinate with central IT / vendors for escalations and replacements
Maintain IT asset records and documentation
Provide end-user support and ensure timely resolution of tickets
Ensure adherence to IT security and company policies at client location
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, LAN & Wi-Fi setup
Basic knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory
Ability to work independently at client location
Good communication and coordination skills
Experience working at client sites / on-roll support projects
Knowledge of firewall basics and VPN
IT certifications (CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+) – added advantage
