Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Engineer to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware systems and peripherals. The candidate will ensure smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and provide technical support to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware systems (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, etc.)

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues and perform timely repairs or replacements

Assemble and upgrade computer systems as per requirements

Manage and maintain IT inventory including hardware components and accessories

Provide technical support to employees for hardware-related issues

Ensure proper installation and functioning of network devices (routers, switches, LAN cables)

Coordinate with vendors for procurement, servicing, and warranty claims

Perform regular system maintenance and preventive checks

Maintain documentation of hardware assets, repairs, and service logs

Support IT team in infrastructure setup and upgrades

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, components, and peripherals

Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN)

Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting and repair

Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and installation processes

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of server hardware and maintenance

Experience with CCTV installation or basic networking setup

Certifications like A+, N+, or relevant hardware certifications
