Field Engineer

Job Title: Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer – Atrocity 

Department: Operations 
Reports To: Service Delivery Head 

Job Summary 

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled O&M Engineer to manage, monitor, and maintain ION network infrastructure in Aerocity, Delhi. The candidate will ensure high network uptime, quick fault resolution, and SLA compliance for Fibre Network and ILL services. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Attending outage call & perform coordination with NOC to ensure closure of TT within SLA. 

2. Responsible for removing faulty equipment from site and returning to store to get replacement 

3. Perform periodic preventive maintenance activity at customer location / POP. 

4. Dismantling of equipment from sites in case of service disconnection. 

5. Supporting Banquet event for installation and testing 

6. Conducting site survey and submitting report to solution team for new projects 

7. Ensuring to provide adequate support w.r.t splicing related work. 

8. New link testing and submitting test report to project team pan India 

9. Co-ordinate with project / service provider team for implementation of new links and support change management plan. 

SLA & Reporting 

• Maintain SLA compliance. 

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly downtime and incident reports. 

• Track MTTR and performance metrics. 

Technical Skills Required 

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP 

• Understanding of Fibre splicing. 

• Basic routing knowledge (Static, OSPF preferred) 

• Familiarity with NMS tools 

• Basic Linux knowledge (preferred) 

Qualification 

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or related field 

• 1–3 years of experience in ISP/Broadband operations (Freshers with strong networking basics may apply) 

Key Competencies 

• Strong troubleshooting skills 

• Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shifts 

• Good communication & coordination skills 

• Ability to work under pressure during outages
