Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations by resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 desktop support to users

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, and other applications

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals

• Perform basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, router/switch issues)

• Handle system upgrades, OS installation, patch updates, and antivirus management

• Manage user accounts, email configuration, and basic Active Directory tasks

• Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and support tickets

• Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement and warranty support

• Ensure data backup, security, and compliance with IT policies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field

• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting

• Experience with printers, scanners, and other peripherals

• Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Active Directory, remote support tools, and basic server support

• Experience in IT asset management and ticketing tools
