We are seeking a skilled Desktop Hardware Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware. The role focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations by providing timely hardware support to end users.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues and perform repairs or replacements
Assemble, upgrade, and test computer hardware components
Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment
Support operating system installations and basic software setup
Maintain inventory of hardware assets and spare parts
Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and repairs
Provide on-site and remote desktop support to end users
Document issues, solutions, and system configurations
Diploma or degree in Computer Hardware, IT, or related field
Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware components
Experience with Windows OS installation and troubleshooting
Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI, drivers, and firmware updates
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, cabling)
Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow troubleshooting procedures
1–3 years of experience in desktop hardware support or IT support roles
Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Willingness to travel or provide on-site support if required
