Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Computer Hardware Repair Engineer to install, maintain, and repair desktop computers, laptops, and IT peripherals. The role involves diagnosing hardware issues, replacing faulty components, ensuring system functionality, and providing support for both onsite and remote users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair hardware problems in desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

• Install, configure, and test operating systems and software applications.

• Replace or upgrade faulty components such as RAM, motherboard, SMPS, hard drive, etc.

• Perform regular maintenance and preventive checks on IT equipment.

• Set up and configure LAN, Wi-Fi, and network devices as needed.

• Maintain service logs and repair records.

• Coordinate with vendors or IT support for warranty claims or spare part replacements.

• Ensure quick turnaround and minimal downtime for users.

• Provide basic troubleshooting support for software and networking issues.

• Follow company protocols for safety, data handling, and service reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Computer Hardware, Electronics, or IT.

• 1–4 years of experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

• Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop components and repair techniques.

• Familiarity with Windows OS installation, drivers, and BIOS setup.

• Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Valid two-wheeler license (preferred for field roles).

Compensation:

• Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000/month (based on experience)
