Job Summary

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Graphic Designer with experience in pharmaceutical packaging design, specifically mono cartons and outer cartons. The candidate will be responsible for creating and preparing accurate packaging artworks while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements, product specifications, and brand guidelines. Since even minor artwork errors can impact an entire production lot, the role requires exceptional precision and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop artworks for mono cartons and outer cartons for pharmaceutical products.

• Ensure 100% accuracy in text, composition, batch information placeholders, barcodes, and regulatory details.

• Prepare print-ready files according to printer and packaging specifications.

• Cross-check product details, dosage information, warnings, and regulatory text before finalizing artwork.

• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, QA, Production, and Packaging teams for artwork approvals.

• Implement changes and revisions as per regulatory updates or product variations.

• Maintain version control and proper documentation of all packaging artworks.

• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical labeling and packaging standards.

• Perform multiple rounds of proofreading and quality checks before artwork release.

• Support new product launches and packaging updates.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator, CORAL DRAW, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• Experience in pharmaceutical packaging artwork (mono cartons and outer cartons).

• Knowledge of print production, dielines, and packaging layouts.

• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability.

• Understanding of barcode placement, batch coding areas, and packaging specifications.

• Ability to work with high precision where errors can impact entire production lots.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or Visual Communication.

• 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging artwork.

• Experience working with printing vendors and packaging suppliers.
