CNC Machine Operator

Position: CNC Machine Operator

Department: Production

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reporting To: Production Manager / Operations Manager

Job Purpose

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CNC Machine Operator to operate CNC machinery, ensure accurate production as per drawings and specifications, and maintain quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.

- Read and understand job specifications.

- Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces for production.

- Load and unload materials and ensure proper positioning before machining.

- Check dimensions and quality of finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Make basic machine/program adjustments as required.

- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormality, breakdown, or tooling issue.

- Maintain proper production records and job-wise documentation.

- Ensure minimum material wastage and maintain production targets.

- Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area.

- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.

- Perform routine machine maintenance and tool replacement as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or relevant technical qualification preferred.

- Previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of CNC machine operation and basic machining processes.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances.

- Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection.

- Basic knowledge of CNC programming/offset correction will be an added advantage.

- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Experience

1–5 years of relevant experience preferred. Fresh ITI candidates with good technical knowledge may also be considered.
