Civil Design Engineer – Commercial & Residential Projects (US-Based)

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Civil Design Engineer to work on US-based commercial and residential projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, plans, and documentation in accordance with US standards, codes, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering designs and construction drawings for commercial and residential projects.

• Develop site plans, grading plans, drainage plans, utility plans, and layout drawings.

• Review project requirements, architectural drawings, surveys, and other technical documents.

• Perform basic grading, drainage, stormwater, and site development calculations.

• Prepare accurate engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• Ensure designs comply with applicable US codes, standards, and local jurisdiction requirements.

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, surveyors, and project managers.

• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, elevations, and design standards.

• Make revisions based on client, consultant, and authority comments.

• Prepare drawing sets and documentation for permit submission and construction purposes.

• Conduct quality checks of drawings and design documents before submission.

• Maintain project documentation, design files, revisions, and drawing records.

• Communicate with US-based clients and project teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.

• Manage multiple projects and meet assigned deadlines.

• Stay updated with applicable US civil engineering codes, standards, and design practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering design and drafting.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• Good understanding of site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design.

• Knowledge of US-based engineering standards and local jurisdiction requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, survey, and construction drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work with US-based clients and teams.

• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects.

• It is a Full Time గ్రాఫిక్ / వెబ్ డిజైనర్ job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
