Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to create, develop, and improve mechanical components, equipment, and systems for manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, ensuring design feasibility, and supporting production teams to achieve quality and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D and 3D designs using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.)

• Develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and BOM (Bill of Materials)

• Conduct design calculations and technical analysis

• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations

• Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback

• Support prototype development and testing

• Maintain proper documentation of design changes

• Work closely with clients (if required) to understand technical requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering design

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.)

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (fabrication, machining, casting, etc.)

• Understanding of GD&T and engineering standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of ERP systems

• Experience in sheet metal / heavy fabrication design

• Familiarity with ISO standards

• Good communication and teamwork skills
