Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing game mechanics, levels, systems, and UI flows for 2D titles.

• Create design documents, flowcharts, and prototypes to communicate ideas clearly.

• Support the game design team in balancing gameplay, enemy behavior, difficulty curves, and progression.

• Work with artists to ensure consistency in art style, animation, and visual feedback.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately.

• Conduct playtesting, gather player feedback, and help iterate on game features.

• Contribute creative ideas to improve the game’s fun factor, pacing, and usability.

• Assist in preparing game assets, levels, or mockups as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong passion for 2D games and game design principles.

• Basic understanding of game mechanics, level design, and player experience design.

• Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Godot, Unreal 2D, etc.).

• Ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, diagrams, or documents.

• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to learn and take feedback constructively.
