We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to create high-quality 3D jewellery designs for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will translate creative concepts into precise CAD models suitable for casting, prototyping, and mass production while maintaining design aesthetics, structural integrity, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 3D CAD models for jewellery pieces including rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, and necklaces.
Translate hand sketches, design briefs, or reference images into production-ready CAD files.
Ensure designs meet manufacturing feasibility, stone-setting requirements, metal weight targets, and quality standards.
Prepare CAD files for 3D printing, wax carving, and casting.
Collaborate closely with design, production, and stone-setting teams to resolve technical issues.
Modify and optimize designs based on prototype feedback and production constraints.
Maintain organized CAD libraries and design documentation.
Ensure adherence to brand aesthetics, timelines, and cost parameters.
Stay updated on new CAD techniques, tools, and jewellery trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Jewellery Design, CAD Design, or related field.
2–5 years of experience as a CAD Designer in jewellery manufacturing (experience range can be adjusted).
Proficiency in jewellery CAD software such as:
Rhino / RhinoGold
Matrix / MatrixGold
ZBrush (preferred for organic designs)
Strong understanding of:
Jewellery manufacturing processes
Stone setting techniques
Metal behavior and tolerances
Ability to create complex, precise, and production-ready models.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Location will be Dahisar East Mumbai.
